The Role of Clean Energy in the Global Housing Crisis

During the High-Level Business Assembly, discussions highlighted the massive challenge of 3 billion people living with inadequate housing. Eric Fang, General Manager of Paygo and Energy Storage, delivered a keynote emphasizing how clean power technology directly addresses this global housing crisis. He established our core strategic vision: "Housing Equity" is inseparable from "Energy Equity".

Access to clean, reliable power represents a cornerstone of human dignity, opportunity, and community resilience. A deployed energy storage system functions as a foundational asset. It provides vulnerable families with the tools they need to build a secure, resilient future.

Success in Africa: Bridging the Financial Gap with PayGo

Developing regions often encounter severe financial barriers to accessing reliable electricity. To bridge this gap, we introduced the BLUETTI PayGo (Pay-As-You-Go) enabled system, custom-designed specifically for African markets. This business model combines high-efficiency hardware with flexible financing options.

Families can now access clean electricity through affordable, manageable payments. This approach not only solves immediate energy poverty but also enables local entrepreneurship and economic self-sufficiency. Our PayGo strategy perfectly aligns with WUF13's broader goals of inclusive, sustainable development.

LAAF Project: A Catalyst for Safe and Resilient Communities

Our commitment to sustainable development takes concrete form through the "Lighting An African Family" (LAAF) initiative. To date, this program has successfully donated solar power kits to over 20,000 families. We have also equipped 30 schools and communities with renewable power systems.

These direct interventions serve as a prime catalyst for building safe and resilient communities. They have directly improved the lives of more than 60,000 people. As Eric Fang noted, these energy solutions provide more than light; they provide hope.
