The Real Challenges of Living Off the Grid
When you trade convenience for independence, these are the hurdles you'll need to overcome.
Getting clean, reliable water out here isn’t easy. Hauling it in every week just isn’t sustainable.
Keeping the cabin warm and powered through those long, freezing nights takes more effort than I ever imagined.
Without a proper sewage system, managing waste—and keeping odors under control—can be a real struggle.
Every storm cuts the power again. The fridge stops, the food spoils, and you start wondering if there's a better way.

Great power supply
I keep this in my truck to recharge my e-foil batteries. It’s doubled my ride time on the water! Awesome!

BLUETTI Elite 300 Portable Power Station 3,014Wh, 2,400W
Great Product
Great product for camping, not too heavy to move around and plenty of power to run everything from, camp fridges to induction cookers and air fryers.

BLUETTI Elite 300 Portable Power Station 3,014Wh, 2,400W
Awesome
works really well just had a little trouble calibrating the SOC. I just purchased a B500K Expansion battery so I can go off grid and run the house when the sun goes down. Time will tell but I believe it will be better than adding a battery to my solar system. Use excess power to charge Bluetti's instead of selling it back to the grid for 2 cents a kilowatt

BLUETTI Apex 300 Versatile Power Station 3,840W 2,764.8Wh
Absolute weapon!
I recently purchased an Apex 300 with B300K battery to replace my Segway power station, as a proper home base for an off grid set up. And the Apex 300 has already proven its worth. Because of the great battery capacity, especially when linked to a B300K, I'm able to power more things around the house, as well as charge up the Segway's, and it always gets to 100% charge through solar before the end of the day's sunlight. This is exactly what i was wanting for the home off grid base unit. The expandability, power, and charging capabilities make other manufacturers units look like toys!

Elite 200 V2+350W
Unit of power
Setting up the Elite 200 V2 was simple. I had no trouble configuring the unit as a UPS. I was also able to arrange the charge/discharge cycle to charge when my solar system is generating high power and discharging outside of that time.
