We had our caravan upgraded to lithium and more solar but couldn’t justify the extra $$7,000 for more batteries and an inverter, then I discovered the BLUETTI Apex 300 for $2999.00 and a charger we can go off grid, run aircon, plug in every gadget thinkable what an amazing addition with time I might look at BLUETTI solar blanket but for now any blanket works.
I recently purchased an Apex 300 with B300K battery to replace my Segway power station, as a proper home base for an off grid set up. And the Apex 300 has already proven its worth. Because of the great battery capacity, especially when linked to a B300K, I'm able to power more things around the house, as well as charge up the Segway's, and it always gets to 100% charge through solar before the end of the day's sunlight. This is exactly what i was wanting for the home off grid base unit. The expandability, power, and charging capabilities make other manufacturers units look like toys!

Our power in our area is very unreliable, last power outage lasted 7days and was a real struggle keeping our food cold wish we had the apex then, the unit is quiet heavy and definitely will have to save up for a trolley and b300k expansion battery.

A great large inverter to run lots of items at home in the event of a power failure.
Reduces my power bill about $4 a day with around 1.4kw of solar I have. A higher inbuilt PV input voltage around 150v would allow my panels to be used in series and I could achieve 2400 watts.
I may add another APEX 300 or the B500K battery to have more capacity.
If I keep up with average 10KW a day solar it will pay for itself in around 20 months.
Not sure why a cigarette light charger is provided and no solar cables. I’m sure most users won’t use the cigarette lighter cable.
So far it’s great.
My workshop is mains power independent and I have been happy with an AC70 and an Elite 30 till now topped up with 2 Solar panels on the roof. The addition of a 3D printer ,though it could be run by the AC70 , with its sometimes long print runs had me looking to up supply. Why not go full on with the Apex 300 ! It runs anything , even my hot air gun at full capacity and charges the other power stations in its spare time . No worries about running out of power mid job the Apex 300 solves any small workshop power issue and can be used to run appliances in the house in the event of a blackout.
