I previously had a Bluetti AC240 which I used for powering my caravan or 240v domestic devices when the battery is in the rear of the four wheel drive.
The AC240 wasn't a bad unit but when the Elite 300 came out with a physically smaller footprint, less weight and double the battery capacity of the AC240, it didn't take long for me to upgrade.
I am over the moon with the smaller dimensions and slightly less weight of the Elite 300 compared to the AC240 because it is simply a bit more manageable and a lot more capacity to spare. It also compares well from a $ per kwh perspective.
As for the Charger 2, my only feedback is that it is physically a much larger unit than the Charger 1 that I have replaced it with, and this is a negative, as space is always a premium inside the confines of a vehicle. I am unlikely to ever attach solar to the Charger 2 so the only real benefit to me is the faster charging time compared to the Charger 1.
Paired to an Elite 300, the faster charging time on the Charger 2 makes a lot more sense, given the larger capacity of the battery. So it is a good match and I am so happy Bluetti have a very good bundle sale price for the two.
Well done Bluetti - I've looked at other offerings on the market, and Bluetti comes up trumps with the Elite 300. It should sell like hot cakes to folks who need up to 10 Amps domestic mains power with a decent run time.
